Species Information

Dorsal spines (total): 6 - 8; Dorsal soft rays (total): 6 - 8; Anal spines: 0; Anal soft rays: 6 - 7; Vertebrae: 45 - 48. Snout pointed, with a pair of barbels on its ventral surface. Free nasal margin serrated, with small spines. Branchial membranes fused with isthmus.
